Yes, this skill is essential to power level. Yes, it's overpowered, but who cares really. This is way better than the unopened soda bottle trick. The facts in the post focus on increasing the deadliness of the skill. There are other things you can do to augment this skill, but it's out of the scope of this guide. Check out Land decimator in action and all of its glory. Here it's being used to magic extract and shard farming. Excellent multi-tasking happening in this video.
You can combine LD with the Insta-Kill Evility
Many people don't know this, but you can benefit from using the Fatal Slash Evility. The Fatal Slash Evility has a 30% chance to deathblow enemies with a lower speed rating. This works exceptionally well with enemies with a slightly lower speed rating than you. You can adjust the difficulty factor to exploit this. Please keep in mind that this doesn't affect your accuracy. You can perform multiple attacks per turn The Twin Dragons Evility will allow you to attack twice if your character doesn't move. The idea is to take your Sage out of the base panel and fire away. Because the Sage didn't move, you will get to attack twice. You can pick up the Evility as a Sage, or you magi-change a monster with it. I have had a lot of success with Izuna and Drumdawn. Izuna magic changes into a staff, and Drumdawn has the twin dragon Evility.
The Sage also has a skill named Multi-Attacker. This skill is unique. Unfortunately, you can share it will take other classes. Just create a few characters of the Sage class, which will allow you to stack attacks.
Your Max Hit Rate is 50% Remember that the hit rate is capped at 50%. There's not much you can do about this. This is baked into the craft. Just use skills that multiply your number of attacks per round. This is an easy fix to deal with this limitation. Land decimator is the best skill in Disgaea 5 When you're power leveling in Disgaea 5, land decimator is the best skill to use. The most significant factor is that you hit all enemies on the map. Many skills are limited by range. This is not the case with the land decimator skill. Is land decimator good for post game in Disgaea 5 Post game means a few things to me. If you asking about the item world, yes, land decimator is a great fit for this area of post game. On a level in the item world, you can have a lot of enemies spread out over the board. Land decimator doesn't care about this, you just have to be aware of the 50% miss rate. You will miss enemies when using this skills. When we start to talk about other post game objectives, land decimator is not a good fit. You can't waste any attacks. You're often rushing to kill an enemy in one turn. Using a skill with a 50% miss rate is asking for trouble. A fun added benefit: Extract farming You will find that you get extracts using the land decimator skill more. You can take all extracts and combine them. This allows you to level faster. Make sure you remember that Disgaea 5 limits how much you can increase your stats using extracts. What if you don't have a Sage in Disgaea 5 how do you get it? If for some reason you don't have a Sage yet, the good news is that you don't have to invest a lot of time to get one. Here's a guide that explains the process of acquiring a Sage in two minutes.
